Description

TGA makes it easy and fun for your child to fall in love with the game of golf! We don't believe kids learn by hitting 100's of balls at the range...That's why our 6 week sessions are designed to train the athlete 1st, combining fitness, body mechanics, golf skills, life lessons and academics each week. With a max ratio of 5:1 there is always plenty of time for individual instruction. Come tee it up with us!

Get ready to tee up and have fun on the course with TGA!

Our multi-week program is ideal for players looking to build their skills - from beginner to experienced junior golfers (Ages 7+) - and is designed to refine skill, build athletic ability, achieve success, promote discovery through play and provide a pathway to a lifetime of golf!

Students progress at their own pace while learning and experiencing new learning objectives in each class.

Each stage of our multi-week curriculum will cover categories of learning objectives: Athletic Development, Golf Skill Development, and Mental Development. We are fully TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified with our head instructor Michael McClean, former collegiate coach and semi professional golfer.

Foundation of fundamentals

Golf skills: swing fundamentals and proper setup
Rules & etiquette: shaking hands and playing with others
Academics: golf vocabulary and introduction to scoring
Life skills: sportsmanship, perseverance and honesty
Athletic training: agility and balance

Practice your skills

Golf skills: understanding different swing types, proper mechanics and ball position to make consistent contact with the ball
Rules & etiquette: navigating the course and learning the parts of the golf club
Academics: understanding yardage and calculating distance
Life skills: respect and responsibility
Athletic training: speed and range of motion

Prepare for the course

Golf skills: developing a balanced swing and consistent trajectory and aim
Rules & etiquette: how to treat a ball once in play and player regulations
Academics: concepts associated with the game and tournaments
